fit2work utilises the National Personal Insolvency Index (NPI) to provide you details of creditor’s petitions, debt and personal insolvency agreements, insolvent deceased estates, as well as control orders and authorities relating to breaches of the Corporations Act.

Financial Checks available

  • Australian Financial Services (AFS) Licensees Register Checks
    Businesses that offer financial advice and/or services must be hold an AFS Licence. fit2work conducts AFS Licence Checks to ensure the organisation you are dealing with are permitted to do so.
  • Australian Financial Services (AFS) Authorised Representative
    fit2work checks the ASIC database to ensure employees of AFS Licence holders are AFS Authorised Representatives. Non-AFS Authorised Representatives are not permitted to offer or provide advice about financial products.
  • Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) Disqualified Register Checks
    fit2work establishes whether an individual holding a senior position in Australia’s authorised deposit-taking, general insurance, and superannuation industries is qualified to do so, or has been disqualified due to a conviction for an offence involving dishonest conduct or bankruptcy.
  • Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) Banned and Disqualified Persons Checks
    fit2work screens AFS disqualified persons, securities representatives and future representatives via the ASIC Banned and Disqualified Persons Register. The Register provides details of an individual’s disqualification from managing an organisation under the Corporations Act, as well as any limitations from running a business. fit2work also carries out Advanced Personal Name searches that detail previous roles held including commencement and termination dates.
  • ASIC Credit Representative Check
    fit2work ensures persons operating on behalf of an ASIC Credit Licensee are authorised to do so.
  • ASIC Credit Registered Persons
    fit2work confirms an individual’s credit registration prior to engaging in credit activities under state and territory legislation.
  • Enforceable Undertakings
    The enforceable undertakings register lists enforceable undertakings accepted by ASIC under sections 93AA or 93A of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (ASIC Act) and section 322 of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (National Credit Act).
